About the Location

Flows Festival takes place on the island of Ugljan in Croatia, one of the greenest islands in the Adriatic. Ugljan sits just across from the city of Zadar on the northern edge of the Kornati archipelago. It is known for its pine forests, quiet bays, crystal water and a relaxed Dalmatian pace of life.

Reaching the island is simple. Zadar is the closest hub, with international flights arriving daily during the summer season. From Zadar you take a short ferry ride to Ugljan. The ferry runs frequently throughout the day and the crossing takes around 15 minutes.

If you arrive by car, the drive from Ljubljana to Zadar takes about four hours by highway, followed by the ferry to Ugljan. For guests flying in or arriving by bus, you can walk onto the ferry without a vehicle. Once on the island, it is a five-minute drive from the ferry port to Zelena Punta, the festival area.
