Ely is a key figure of the Slovenian electronic music scene and a pioneer of trance in the country. He began his DJ journey in 2000, at a time when trance music was virtually unknown locally, and quickly established himself through persistence and a strong instinct for the dancefloor.

A major milestone came in 2004, when he became a resident of TranceGalactica, Slovenia’s first regular trance event series. There, he shared stages with international artists and helped shape the foundations of the local trance and progressive scene.

Over the years, Ely performed extensively across Slovenia and abroad, appearing at venues such as Ambasada Gavioli and InBox, festivals including Dance Republic and Electronic Carnival, and clubs in the UK, Austria, Croatia and Switzerland. He also created his own club concepts, most notably organizing over 60 events under the Eureka! brand, bringing leading trance and progressive artists to Slovenian audiences.

An important part of his work was the radio show Addiction on Afterhours.fm, where he promoted trance music and supported emerging talent.

In recent years, Ely has been active as a resident DJ and co-creator of the ECLYPSE collective, focusing on melodic techno and house. This marks a natural continuation of his long-standing exploration of melodic electronic music, keeping him relevant and evolving after more than 25 years behind the decks.
